Paid.care has expanded its family caregiver program statewide in Michigan and into select communities in Illinois, extending a service already available in Indiana that helps eligible family members receive compensation through state Medicaid programs for providing care to loved ones at home. The company is currently accepting applicants throughout Michigan and in participating Illinois service areas, while emphasizing that individual eligibility still depends on applicable program requirements.
The expansion is intended to reach families who are already providing substantial day-to-day support to elderly parents, relatives with disabilities, and other loved ones who require assistance at home. Eligibility also depends on more than location. Once a family is enrolled through an eligible program, Paid.care provides training and ongoing care coaching intended to help caregivers understand their responsibilities and maintain required documentation. The company also administers regular payments for approved caregiving work according to the program under which the family participates.
