The SodaPeak dietary supplement gummy lists caffeine at 5 mg per serving as a separate line on its Supplement Facts panel, a disclosure practice the Council for Responsible Nutrition has recommended for caffeine-containing supplements since 2013.
LAKELAND, Florida — September 10, 2026 — SodaPeak, a dietary supplement gummy distributed for Instituto Experience of Lakeland, Florida, has reviewed its caffeine labeling against the voluntary guidelines published by the Council for Responsible Nutrition and confirmed that its Supplement Facts panel declares caffeine as a separate figure of 5 mg per serving, as those guidelines recommend. The product is sold directly to consumers through the company’s official website.
Industry Guidelines on Caffeine Labeling
The Council for Responsible Nutrition, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing dietary supplement manufacturers and ingredient suppliers, adopted its Recommended Guidelines for Caffeine-Containing Dietary Supplements on April 1, 2013, and revised them in 2015 and again on June 14, 2018, following U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidance on highly concentrated caffeine. The guidelines state that caffeine content from both added and naturally occurring sources combined should be declared in milligrams per serving, and that any supplement supplying more than 100 mg of caffeine per serving should carry statements advising that the product is not intended for children or those sensitive to caffeine. The guidelines are voluntary and apply to CRN member companies; they are not federal labeling requirements.
For context, the FDA states that an 8-ounce cup of coffee typically contains 80 to 100 mg of caffeine, and that 400 mg a day is not generally associated with negative effects in healthy adults.
What the SodaPeak Label Declares
The SodaPeak Supplement Facts panel lists an 82 mg proprietary blend of muira puama extract, maca extract, catuaba extract, green tea extract, caffeine, ashwagandha, L-arginine, Tribulus terrestris and Epimedium extract. Within that list, caffeine is the only component given its own figure — 5 mg per gummy — while the amounts of the other eight components are not individually disclosed, a format permitted for proprietary blends provided the blend total is stated. A note on the panel adds that the 82 mg of extracts is equivalent to approximately 567 mg of dry powders. At 5 mg, the declared caffeine content is well below the 100 mg per-serving threshold at which the CRN guidelines call for additional warning statements.

Caffeine From Botanical Sources
The CRN guideline’s reference to naturally occurring caffeine is relevant to SodaPeak’s formula because green tea extract, one of the blend’s components, naturally contains caffeine. The SodaPeak panel declares caffeine at 5 mg and does not separately itemize the contribution of the green tea extract to that figure. A 2018 scientific opinion by the European Food Safety Authority examined the safety of green tea catechins from supplements and identified daily intakes of 800 mg or more of the catechin EGCG as the level at which liver-related effects had been observed; the review was conducted independently and was not affiliated with SodaPeak. The label does not state the catechin content of SodaPeak’s green tea extract, and the entire 82 mg blend is a small fraction of that threshold.
Other Blend Components
The remaining blend components are botanicals and an amino acid with varied research records. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) has been studied in controlled human trials, including a 2012 randomized, placebo-controlled study in the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine that used 600 mg per day of a standardized root extract over 60 days — more than seven times the entire SodaPeak blend; the study was conducted independently and was not affiliated with SodaPeak. Maca is an Andean root vegetable whose human studies have generally used 1.5 to 3 grams of powdered root daily. Muira puama and catuaba have documented traditional use and essentially no controlled human trials as isolated ingredients, and Epimedium has been studied primarily in laboratory models through its constituent icariin. L-arginine is an amino acid involved in nitric oxide synthesis. None of this research concerns the finished SodaPeak product, no clinical trial has evaluated the finished formulation, and no equivalence between the cited studies and the product is claimed.
Each gummy also supplies 10 calories, 3 grams of total carbohydrate, 3 grams of sugars and 4 mg of sodium. Other ingredients are corn syrup, cane sugar, water, apple pectin, sorbitol liquid, natural flavors, citric acid and sodium citrate dihydrate.
SodaPeak Safety Information
SodaPeak is intended for adults and is not intended for anyone under 18. The label directs anyone who is pregnant or nursing, takes medication or has a medical condition to consult a doctor before use, and to discontinue use and consult a doctor if any adverse reaction occurs. L-arginine has documented potential to lower blood pressure, and published guidance advises caution when combining it with nitrate or antihypertensive medications; adults taking cardiac or blood pressure medication should consult a healthcare professional before use. The recommended serving is one gummy daily, stored at room temperature with the bottle tightly closed. Statements about SodaPeak have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
